Mai Lu, BSN, RN

Mai Lu, is an avid learner and team player who brings over 6 years of healthcare experience to the Forward Focus - Northfield family, working most recently in Family Medicine. She is committed to providing individualized, quality healthcare and patient advocacy. Her warm personality allows her to create a comfortable and trusting atmosphere for patients and their loved ones in hopes of building close, long-lasting relationships with them. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with family/friends, taking her dog and 2 cats out to picnics when possible, doing some calligraphy/watercolor, traveling, etc. 

Renee Gagerman, Patient Services

Renee is excited to be joining our practice, where patients’ health needs take top priority. Her welcoming and nurturing presence makes her a great addition to our team. She brings many years of experience working in a specialist medical office, which has prepared her well to meet the needs of our patients. She is committed to taking the extra time with patients to make sure their questions are answered in an efficient & caring manner. In her free time, she enjoys running, cycling, hanging out with friends on her balcony, watching the sunset, and discovering neighborhood eateries with her kids.

Michelle Williams, Patient Services

Michelle has a strong background in healthcare, having worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in both nursing homes and doctor's offices. She also has 8 years of experience in clinical and patient care settings, as well as leadership experience from her time as an assistant manager at a medical practice. Helping people is truly her passion. She loves creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Patient care is always her top priority, and she strives to go above and beyond to ensure every patient has a positive experience. She has an outgoing personality and enjoys building relationships with both patients and colleagues. Outside of work, she loves cooking, yoga, and spending quality time with her family. 

Kelli English, Marketing Associate

Kelli is a warm and enthusiastic member of our team. She brings extensive experience in customer service. There is no task too big or too small; she is always eager to help. Kelli has a bachelor’s degree in theater, where she has developed excellent communication skills, which will be very helpful when addressing a patient’s needs. Kelli enjoys graphic design and collage, musical theatre, jogging, and cats.

Susie Seiling, COO

Susie Seiling brings a passion for exceptional customer care combined with over 30 years working in finance and operations. With an extensive array of experience running small businesses, Susie, a Lincolnshire native, is happy to be back on the North Shore as part of the Forward Focus family. As the mother of six children, Susie understands the importance of preventative health and wellness, as well as the value of personalized care. A natural nurturer, Susie’s gentle disposition and insight allow her to be the ideal patient advocate while also ensuring smooth operations that enable our staff to focus on patient care. Susie has been moonlighting as a community theatre director for over 25 years and can occasionally be found teaching classes and workshops. When away from work, Susie and her husband love to spend time boating and hanging out with their kids and grandson.

Nancy Beidleman, Northfield Practice Manager

Nancy Beidleman has an extensive background in healthcare office administration in the Chiropractic and Veterinary healthcare settings. She is well-prepared to assist with the communication and coordination of your care. She studied Biology at Loyola University of Chicago and has always been interested in all things relating to personal health. She owned and operated a family restaurant for 22 years and has a passion for customer service and the culinary arts. In her free time, she enjoys learning new culinary techniques and spending time with her family and pets.

Lisa Lewis, Director of Patient Experience

Lisa Lewis brings a wealth of experience in marketing and customer service to Forward Focus. She has joined our administrative team to enhance the communication and coordination of your care. Lisa also has a strong interest in fitness and wellness. She has worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor for many years. She engages in a regular, well-rounded exercise program. Movement is central to her lifestyle and, in fact, dance was part of her college education. Lisa has two children and lives in the northwest suburbs.
 

Brad Silverman, CFO

Brad brings over 15 years of leadership experience across finance, strategy, and operations in healthcare. He has worked across a range of organizations — from innovative startups to Fortune 500 companies — with a focus on helping healthcare providers build, grow, and scale efficiently while maintaining exceptional patient care.

Originally from the North Shore, Brad and his wife live in Lincolnshire with their two young daughters and their beloved rescue pit bull, Addison Clark. A die-hard fan of Chicago sports, he enjoys playing golf, staying active, and being involved in the local community. He is proud to be part of a team that’s committed to delivering meaningful, patient-centered care right here at home.

Kimberly Simeonov, Accounts Payable-Bookkeeper

Kimberly excels at number crunching and brings 10 years of experience in banking. Those years in banking also allowed her to develop close working relationships with clients. Customer service was a key component of her time in the industry. She has a bachelor's degree in management with a minor in accounting and English. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys all of her town's traditions, especially the Fourth of July fireworks.

Denzel Washington, Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Denzel joins Forward Focus with over 10 plus years in customer service, human resources, and finance across both the automotive and hospitality industries. He has a passion for creating and supporting a nurturing and comfortable environment for others and being of service in any way he can. Denzel earned his bachelor's degree in Communication from Bradley University, and in his free time loves entertaining, telling jokes, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and trying new things.

Stephanie Garcia, Medical Billing/Coding Specialist

Stephanie welcomes our patients in a kind and caring manner. She worked in an Obstetrics and Gynecology practice for 12 years as a receptionist and medical assistant. She brings to our practice additional customer service experience from her time as a retail store manager. She is very family oriented, a dog mom, a fitness enthusiast, and loves sports.

Tanner Newman, Accounts Receivable Specialist

Tanner is an excellent addition to our team. She is warm and friendly with a strong work ethic. She is very detail-oriented and comes to us with several years of experience in finance. In her spare time, she works on her portfolio as a professional artist.
