Join the fun and learn to simplify mealtime with

Sheryl is known for her recipe creations, swapping out unhealthy ingredients and replacing them with delicious, healthy ones. Learn how nutrition and delicious work together. Three different One Pot cooking opportunities will be offered throughout the year. For those of you who want to step into the kitchen, be prepared to roll up your sleeves, grab an apron and help, or prefer to just watch, that is ok too.
 
Each One Pot Cooking Experience is designed to:

  • Offer the opportunity to explore unfamiliar cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Show how a balanced meal can be prepared using one cooking vessel from start to finish that most of you probably have in your kitchen. 
  • Spend Less time, less mess, and less clean up while preparing a tasty, healthy meal.
  • Provide an alternative for those people who often rely on the convenience of restaurants for both their meals and for their nutrition.
  • Have Fun!

 Stir Fry Cooking Experience

There are few cooking techniques as dynamic and exciting as stir-frying. The sights, the sounds, and the searing heat immediately stimulate your appetite.  All your senses are awakened when you are stir-frying.  Sheryl will use this old Chinese cooking method in which ingredients are fried in a small amount of very hot oil while being stirred in a wok.   We will prepare a delicious sauce, and combine lean protein, a variety of veggies and use a minimum amount of healthy fat to make a healthy and appealing dish with calories kept at a reasonable level.
