Event: What Changes Can You Make to Optimize Your Memory? Webinar

We are delighted to have Paul Later; MD participate in our 2023 Prevention & Wellness Education Series.  Dr. Later was raised in the Chicago area and went to high school at the University of Chicago High School. He went to college at the University of Chicago and then medical school at Rush.  He did his internship at Northwestern then went back to Rush for his neurology residency and a neuromuscular and electrophysiology fellowship.  He moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana for more than 20 years, getting deeply involved in a number of different subspecialty areas within neurology.  He was involved in clinical trials in stroke, migraine, dementia, and MS.  He moved back to the Chicago area and was at Northwest Community Hospital for 2 ½ years as stroke co-director and while there, was involved in enrolling patients into the IDEAS study which was a nationwide study of amyloid PET scans for patients with mild cognitive impairment or early dementia to better identify patients with questions remaining about their diagnosis whether there is Alzheimer’s pathology demonstrated on the PET scan.
